Gold Coast Christian College emphasizes the importance of sport in its holistic education approach. Participation in competitive and recreational sports fosters physical fitness and essential life skills like teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Students can engage in our marquee sports: Basketball, Netball, and Touch Football. They can join the Sport Academy (Year 4-12) on Tuesday mornings, the Junior Sport Development Program (P-6) on Wednesday afternoons, or compete in interschool, representative, or local community competitions. The College holds annual interhouse carnivals between Andrews and Bates houses for house spirit and individual age champions in Swimming, Cross Country, and Athletics. Additionally, students can enjoy recreational sports like surfing, fishing, wake park, and beach sports.
