OUR REASON
Our Purpose: To Reveal Jesus

Adventist Education exists because we believe in the profound love of Jesus and the hope, peace and joy that comes from knowing Him. In everything we do – from our attitudes, words, and actions – we want to reflect Jesus to our students, families and the wider community.

Our Vision: To be a thriving Christ-centred learning community

We desire to build a dynamic, nurturing school community so that we may be a lighthouse that shines for Jesus and serves with care and excellence.

Our Mission: To enable every student to flourish

We believe that students and young children will truly flourish when their spiritual, mental, physical and social needs are met. We want to inspire and care holistically for each person – equipping them with the beliefs, values, and skills to live a life of purpose, hope, joy and peace as a global citizen for Christ.

OUR GOAL - BELONG, BELIEVE, BECOME

It is our aspiration that Gold Coast Christian College will be a community where students feel they BELONG to the family of God, a safe and supportive learning environment, and to a community that provides identity and nurture.

That students will grow in their faith and come to BELIEVE in Jesus Christ as their redeemer, in the importance of learning and making positive lifestyle choices, and in the value of collaboration in building harmonious communities.

That students will BECOME active in discipleship, worship and service for God, learners with skills and values that equip for life, and informed responsible and compassionate citizens.

OUR LEARNING VALUES

At Gold Coast Christian College, we guide our students in their approach to learning with three consistent learning values (3R’s) across our College.

Respectful – Students are taught to value themselves and others through words and actions.

Responsible – Students are taught to make wise choices and be accountable for their behaviour.

Resilient – Students are taught to persevere when faced with difficult situations.
