Our Student Representative Council (SRC) plays a vital role in building a positive and inclusive culture in our school community.

Through creative and meaningful initiatives like cultural days, gatherings, and fundraisers, the SRC continues to strengthen student relationships and work toward the goal that every student voice is valued and heard.

Earlier this year, the SRC hosted a cultural event where students, staff, and student leaders came together for a powerful afternoon of connection, creativity, and culture. Responding to the question, “How can we use our actions to help everyone feel safe, seen, and supported?” each group designed and created a canvas artwork capturing their vision of an inclusive community. The Quad was transformed into a vibrant café space, complete with cultural pies and thoughtful conversations. It was a beautiful celebration of unity and student voice.

More recently, the SRC supported Fireside CONNECT, a special evening held at our ‘Meeting Place’ fire pit for students in Years 7–12. The event featured a heartfelt devotion by a Senior College Captain, fireside games, and an open conversation about faith and purpose. With laughter, reflection, and snacks shared around the fire, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Many students expressed that they did not want the evening to end.

Students shared about the experience:

“It was fun just hanging out with friends around a fire.”

“Seeing students from all year levels come together out of normal school hours feeling like we all belonged, it was amazing.”

“Everything about the evening was good because you could connect with each other and God around a fire. We listened first and then shared ideas.”

With 2026 Student Representative Council applications opening soon, current SRC members encourage students to apply:

“Being part of the student leadership team has helped me become more confident in connecting with students from different year levels and encouraging others too.”

“The advice I would give to next year’s students thinking about applying for a leadership role is to go for it! Even if you’re unsure. You’ll love the peer involvement and it’s fun leading a group.”
