Our music students used their talents and energies to bring joy to the residents of Melody Park Adventist Residential Care through a special community service performance.

Students from Year 3 Strings Immersion, Year 5 Brass and Woodwind Immersion, Jazz Band, and music studies shared a beautiful selection of pieces that lifted spirits and brightened the day for everyone present. From gentle strings to lively brass and confident ensemble items, the room was filled with warmth, gratitude and plenty of smiles.

This visit was more than a performance. It was an expression of our commitment to serving others, building confidence through real-world experiences, and helping students understand the power of their gifts.

Music has a unique ability to connect generations, and it was wonderful to see our students engaging so thoughtfully and respectfully with the Melody Park community.

"I enjoy playing music because I can escape thinking about the world and just experience the flow of notes that are satisfying to hear. Sharing music at Melody Park was an enjoyable experience as it allows me to share the satisfying experience and it gives me the sense of doing something good for others." - Kyle, Year 11

We are incredibly proud of the students who took part, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated music program teachers, instrumental instructors and ensemble conductors for guiding and supporting them so well.
