The beginning of a new school year brings fresh rhythms, new faces, and the steady return of familiar ones. Students are settling in, reconnecting, and finding their place as 2026 gets underway.

This year’s theme, chosen by our Year 12 students, is “With God I become.” It reflects our shared focus on knowing God more and allowing that relationship to shape who we are becoming through learning, friendships, and everyday life at school.

One of the defining parts of our culture is our encouragement to give things a try. We believe that when students give things a go, they grow. They join in, make new friendships, and discover new interests and opportunities. When students are open to trying new things, they often find themselves surrounded by supportive peers, caring mentors, and friends who look up to them. Courage has a way of spreading, and one student’s willingness to step forward often gives others the confidence to do the same.

Our school is a community shaped by kindness and care. Through everyday moments, students are practising our 3Rs of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience as they learn, play, and grow together.

Learning is already underway. Science experiments, creative expression, maths assessments, wellbeing practices, and lunchtime handball matches are becoming part of the daily rhythm.

We are thankful for this community and for the year God has given us. As the year unfolds, we look forward to walking alongside our students and families throughout 2026.
