Secondary Sport

Gold Coast Christian College has a philosophy of providing all students with opportunities to be involved in both individual and team activities throughout the year. These opportunities are provided to students at our inter-house carnival’s, the Association of Gold Coast Colleges (AGCC), Adventist School Sports Association (ASSA) and Hinterland District School Sport.

GCCC Carnivals

The Andrews/Bates rivalry continues each year as the College’s sporting houses compete in our sports carnivals. Students participate in three sports carnivals throughout the year - Swimming, Athletics, and Cross Country.

ASSA & Hinterland District Carnivals

Students who perform well at our College’s sports carnivals are given the opportunity to represent Gold Coast Christian College against other schools in Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics. At the Adventist School Sports Association (ASSA) Competitions, students compete against other Adventist schools in the South Queensland Conference.

Association of Gold Coast Colleges (AGCC)

Gold Coast Christian College competes in the Association of Gold Coast Colleges (AGCC) inter-school sport competitions. This provides our students with opportunities to represent our College in sports such as Touch Football, Netball, Oztag, Futsal, Tennis, Soccer and Australian Rules Football. We are proud of how all our students compete and represented our College.
