Primary Sport
Developing a love of sport early goes a long way to helping children develop their motor skills and confidence. Whether it’s a sporting competition between a few local schools or being part of an after-school club, competitive sport really helps our students learn resilience, team work, and commitment, not to mention the clear benefits for their health.
GCCC Carnivals
Our College participates in three major carnivals during the year; Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics. Each event provides opportunities for our students to showcase their athletic prowess and sportsmanship as they compete for their house team.
ASSA & Hinterland District Carnivals
Our place-getters then earn the possibility of an invite to represent the College at District level.
Interschool Primary Sport
All students in Years 4, 5 and 6, represent the College against other Independent and State schools. Students engage in soccer, netball, Oz tag and touch footy throughout the year.
After School Clubs
Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to participate in after school sports like - Netball, Twenty20 cricket and Tennis.
