Developing a love of sport early on goes a long way to helping children develop confidence and competence. Whether it’s a sporting competition between a few local schools or being part of an after-school club, competitive sport really helps our students learn resilience, team work, and builds character, not to mention the clear benefits for their health. Throughout the year, all of our students are engaged in a variety physical activities and games while also learning how to establish life-long healthy habits.
Our College participates in three major carnivals during the year; Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics. Each event provides opportunities for our students to showcase their athletic prowess and sportsmanship as they compete for their house team.
ASSA & Hinterland District Carnivals
Our place-getters then earn the possibility of an invite to represent the College at District level.
Interschool Primary Sport
2015 saw the introduction of Year Four being included in the District Interschool Sport alongside the Year Five and Sixes. All students represent the College against other Independent and State schools. Students engage in soccer, netball, Oz tag and touch footy throughout the year.
After School Clubs
A popular regular program is our After School Clubs - We have Netball, Twenty20 cricket and Tennis to choose from.
