Students Shine at Cultural Collage
Last term on Thursday evening, 22nd June, our music department held our annual Cultural Collage in the Performing Arts Centre. This event was a huge success showcasing many of our wonderfully talented students who displayed much determination and bravery in performing in front of a large audience.
The Collage is a varied collection of music items featuring string ensemble groups, items from the brass/woodwind section, vocal and guitar collaborations, vocal solos, and piano solos.
It is wonderful to see these aspiring young musicians take to the stage and perform their items with such confidence and mastery of their chosen instrument. Each year, the Cultural Collage gets better!
It is also wonderful to see the support our young musicians receive from parents, caregivers and teachers on the night, whose help and support ensure that our young musicians feel confident and motivated to continue their music studies.
We have a large range of music instruments that can be selected for students to learn, rivaling much larger schools. Instruments include:
Vocals, piano, violin, viola, violoncello, guitar, (acoustic and electric) bass guitar, drums and percussion, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, clarinet and flute.
Well done students!
