Our five year old son has just finished his first year of school as a Prep Student of Gold Coast Christian College. With the variety of amazing Christian schools on the Gold Coast it was a seemingly hard decision to choose the right school for him, but as soon as we found out about Gold Coast Christian College the decision was easy.

Firstly, it felt like we entered a family.  The teachers, all ancillary staff and Principal, Mr Lawson, know all the students and never hesitate to stop and say hello.

Secondly, as there is only one small class per year level, it allows children to go to school with friends that they will make for life.  There is also no new year anxiety as they transition together to the next year level with each teacher being a familiar and friendly face. It is beautiful.

As a teacher, I knew that a quality education for my sensitive little boy was needed and we have received that and more since he started Kindergarten at Gold Coast Christian College in 2018.

His anxiety about school has completely vanished. He loved going to Prep, his enthusiasm to learn has grown immensely, and his love for his teachers reassured me that he is able to learn in a safe and nurturing environment.
